The side to side kick is an exciting exercise that can generate much power through the water. In this seminar, I'll discuss how to demonstrate it effectively from the pool deck and cue specific techniques so participants can benefit most. Then, I will show you some variations of leg and arm movements, tempo changes and repetitions that you can use to give variety to this full body exercise.

Technique

In this seminar, I'll discuss how to correctly perform the Cross Country Ski in the water to increase lower body power, cardiovascular endurance and range of motion. I will also show you poor technique and what to look out for.

Variations

So many variations for this aqua staple from using different arm lines to rebounding, speed and tempo changes. Learn from other instructors what variations they use to add more variety and give their participants a break from the usual routine.

Creative Ideas

The Cross Country Ski is an amazing exercise for creativity. So many ideas from being suspended, on a diagonal, scissoring and splitting legs. I hope you enjoy learning new ways to add this dynamic exercise to your aquatic repertoire!
